Andrea is a lecturer at various private universities. Her focus is on intercultural management and tourism studies. She also works as a consultant for companies and public institutions. She is a hotel manager and graduate in business administration as well as a systemic coach.

Prior to this time she held management positions in various companies. Andrea built up the Japanese licensing business for the company Feinkost Käfer and was previously responsible for sponsoring, trade fairs and events at the Veltins Brewery. For 10 years she was managing director of Innovativkreis NRW liberal, a political think tank. Thereafter she was director of Amerika Haus e.V. North Rhine-Westphalia. During this time, she was invited to speak at numerous events.

She is a political activist for many years, leads the Europe working group of the CDU of the Rheinisch Bergischer Kreis and has been candidate for the European Parliament Elections in 2018.

In 2019 she founded Transatlantic Female Forum, a network of european and american women to increase influence in economy, science, politics and culture.

With her husband and her two sons she spent 4 years abroad in Japan and South Africa. Today the family is living in Bergisch Gladbach.
